And the winner of The Voice 2015 is...

Warning: This post contains spoilers.

If you haven’t watched The Voice Grand Finale yet (and are still planning on it), read no further. This post contains massive spoilers as to who took out the competition.

But before we get into that, let’s go over the contestants one more time, and take a look back at their best performances of the season.

Will the winner of The Voice 2015 be…

Liam Maihi (Team Ricky)

Liam is a self-taught musician from New South Wales’ South Coast. Along with performing a few nights a week at local pubs and clubs, he often plays in his mum’s hairdressing salon for her customers.

Ellie Drennan (Team Jessie)

At only 16, Ellie has taken this year’s competition by storm. Still a high school student juggling homework with gigs, Ellie’s biggest gig to date was singing in front of 70,000 people at Carols in the Domain.

Joe Moore (Team Madden)

24-year-old Joe taught himself how to play the drums at the age of 12 and has pursued music as a career ever since. Joe reached the Grand Final of Australia’s Got Talent in 2012, but fell just short of the win. At present, he’s a professional busker, performing five days a week in Sydney’s Pitt St Mall.

Nathan Hawes (Team Madden)

Central Coast surfer Nathan Hawes is passionate about writing his own music. He cites Angus Stone and Matt Corby as his musical inspirations, and has captured young hearts on the show since his first performance of Drake’s “Hold On We’re Going Home.”

And the winner is… *drumroll*

Congratulations to the winner of The Voice 2015, Ellie Drennan! At 16, Ellie is the youngest ever winner of The Voice Australia. The win guarantees her a contract with Universal Music, $100,000 in prize money and a Ford Kuga.

Reflecting on her win, Ellie said, “I honestly can’t believe I just won! This has been the most amazing experience. Thank you to all my friends and family and of course Jessie J for supporting me through this and always seeing the best in me.

Thanks to everyone who voted for me and making this happen. What a ride!”

On tonight’s show, Ellie performed Nothing Compares to You by Sinead O’Connor, followed by her brand new single Ghost, before being crowned the show’s winner.

Ellie’s first single, Ghost, has been released and is available on iTunes now.
