Looks like it’s going to be a competitive season.

The cast for this season’s Dancing With the Stars has been confirmed by Woman’s Day, now we know the people that will be gracing our screens with their dancing shoes on.

1. Ash Pollard.

Ash Pollard was a big personality on My Kitchen Rules and did pretty well on the reality TV show. It’s also no secret that she’d like more time in the television spotlight so this seems a perfect opportunity.

2. Emma Freedman.

Emma Freedman is a radio host on The Scoopla Show on 2DayFM, and is always a bundle of energy.

3. Matthew Mitcham.

Matthew Mitcham is an Olympic diver - he won a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics.

4. John Paul Young.

John Paul Young is a Scottish-born Australian pop singer.

5. Mat Rogers.

Mat Roger is a professional rugby league and union player.

6. Tim Robards.

Tim Robards was the original Australian Bachelor and is currently dating winner Anna Heinrich.

7. Jude Boulton.

8. Larry Emdur.

9. Kelly Cartwright.

10. Samantha Harris.

The new line up of talent will be taking stage under the guise of the new judge, Shane Bourne. Channel 7 say that he will be joining Edwina Bartholomew on the hit TV series.

The actor, comedian and TV presenter will be replacing Daniel McPherson who quit the show this year after hosting it for seven seasons.

Not all of the judges will be returning either. tvtonight says that while Todd McKenny, Helen Richey and Kym Johnson will all be reappearing - Adam Garcia won't be returning after his two seasons on the show.

This is the eleventh year that Dancing With the Stars has been running, and everyone seems just as excited for this season as they did for the very first one.

We're hoping to see it on our screen in the coming month (fingers and toes are crossed).
