Brad Pitt is under investigation for allegedly “getting verbally abusive and physical” with his children, celebrity news website TMZ is reporting.
The report claims Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services are investigating reports of an incident on a plane last Wednesday, which is believed to have sparked Pitt’s wife Angelina Jolie to file for divorce
Sources told TMZ Pitt “got wasted” on the private jet, then “went wild, screaming and getting physical with the kids”.
Witnesses reportedly saw the actor continue his rant on an unnamed tarmac when the plane landed at 8pm, with a witness on either the plane or tarmac reporting the incident to the LA County Department of Children and Family Services.
“[Pitt] takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children,” a source told TMZ.
“It’s unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him in the worst possible light.”
Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences. Pitt is reported to be filing for joint-custody of the couple’s children.

FBI are involved now - as beyond LAPD jurisdiction as was flight from France to Minnesota. He also reportedly tried to drive off in a fuel truck.
Sad. Seems like there's some stuff going on for Brad. A woman/man typically (can't speak for Angelina) does not spring to divorce. Only when they feel that despite all efforts to resolve together, they are not being heard, it feels like the only course of action - to protect yourself/your family etc.
To a much lesser degree than Brad's behaviours, I got to the point of divorce after 12 years (2 married), because my ex husband refused to acknowledge my concerns about his alienating behaviours, and it was always me that was the one who had 'issues' - it was a one way street vs team.
