Red carpet life sure looks glam, but anyone whose been trussed up for a night knows it can’t be comfortable.

You can’t sweat. Your shoes rub. You’re sucking your guts in, you might be hungry and your breath might be getting a bit GAK.

WELL NOT ON OUR WATCH, CELEBRITIES. NOT HERE. NOT NOW. NOT EVER.

Armed with lollies, mints, bobby pins, band-aids, panadol, a sewing kit, thongs, slippers, spare knickers and uggies, we went along to support those women doing it tough, going commando, and blistering up their feet on the red carpet.

Weactuallyfixed a dress malfunction. We doled out priceless (original flavoured) BBQ shapes. And we gawked at a LOT of beautiful people.
