Woman's dirty attempt to get a free meal was caught on CCTV and OH GOD NO.

CCTV footage has captured a woman adding her own hair to a meal before complaining to staff and demanding a discounted bill.

The incident occurred last week when a couple dined at Brisbane’s Casa Nostre restaurant and complained to staff about finding a long, curly blonde hair in their food and demanded the dish be removed from their bill or that a discount be applied.

"They blackmailed us saying if you don't do it free we'll write down a bad review," Casa Nostre owner and head chef Biagio Biuso told Channel 9 News on Thursday.

True to their word, two scathing reviews of the restaurant appeared on popular review site Trip Advisor within hours of the incident.

"So disappointed with these people!!" one of the reviews began.

"They weren't vegetarian friendly at all. We tried to go with it and go with something very simple, but they didn't manage at all. When we asked to talk to the owner that was there, they didn't want us too [sic]. They were very unfriendly and this is an under statement [sic]. Don't go here!" the review concluded.

Neither of the reviews mentioned finding a hair in their meal or their subsequent request for a free meal.

But in a bid to defend their reputation, Casa Nostre has taken the unprecedented move of releasing CCTV footage from within the restaurant to Trip Advisor as a means of having the reviews removed.

The footage clearly shows the woman in question plucking a long, curly blonde hair from her own head and adding it to her plate. She can then be seen sprinkling salt on top of the meal before sitting back, not taking another bite.

Moments later, the woman can be seen complaining to staff about the incident.

All of the chefs at Casa Nostre have short, black hair.

A week on from the incident, it appears Trip Advisor removed the two reviews.

Of the 56 reviews Casa Nostre has on the review website, 37 rate the Italian eatery as excellent and 11 considered their experience very good.

"It's disappointing to think what extremes people will go to to get a free meal," Casa Nostre owner Sara Biuso told Channel Nine News.
