Let’s be honest — men get away with doing things women would probably be crucified for.
Like taking off our shirts when it’s hot. And they don’t have to deal with periods. Or shaving every orifice of their bodies before a date.
They don’t have to deal with the anxiety of growing a small human inside of their bodies or walking home alone at night.
It’s just easier to have a penis in this world than it is to have a vagina.
So, we asked Mamamia staffers why they sometimes wished they were a man. Turns out there are quite a few reasons.

It's only about once every 28 days that I wish I was a man.
I envy the peeing standing up (or wherever you need to go) and the no shirts in summer thing, and I would add another - being able to get angry about something without it being blamed on your hormones! Also, you go through puberty, and then you're done. No pregnancy (with it's hormone changes etc), no menopause, no PMS.
On the other hand if you do get angry about something you can blame it on your hormones :)
I think you'll find men have hormone issues as well, though absolutely no where near the level that women do.
I knew someone was going to say that men have hormone stuff too! :)
But I was careful to clarify that women have it much worse in that regard :)
I think some of the stuff in the video doesn't make sense, like the one about wanting to be a man when walking home at night. The stats are very clear, men are much more likely to be assaulted than women are.
Now of course woman are perectly entitled to want to be a man in that situation, but don't be under the impression that it is necessarily better.
