Win one of 25 packs of Rosemount wine

Wine time. This sponsored post is brought to you by Rosemount.

Wine is, or should be, a form of currency. It’s the silent ‘thank you‘ I bring when I turn up to someone else’s house (frequently) and the payment offered to anyone who lends a hand or gives me some much needed (and frank) advice.

I’m simple in that respect. Give me a bottle of wine, a balcony and friends and I’m as happy as can be.

Turns out we have all three at Mamamia. But let’s be clear, it might seem like we’re constantly flitting off to parties and events but the truth is we’re a pretty hard-working bunch who don’t take the time to just relax and chat. Which is criminal, really.

So we made amends.

Rosemount were kind enough to bring some of us together for an afternoon break on a glorious Sydney day. And we were sampling some of their perfect spring-time range of Rosemount Botanicals lightly infused with subtle fruit and flower. It’s wine, but not quite as you know it. (Kind of like us! Celebrate being quirky, I say). There’s the sauvignon blanc with lemon and elderflower, the chardonnay with apple and cucumber (adventurous, but definitely my favourite) and the Pinot Grigio with blood orange and rosewater.

Warmth, wine and witty conversation. Bliss.

Office festivities are always the perfect gateway to the weekend. The entree to fun and frivolity. You know that feeling you get when the whole weekend seems to stretch before you and you’ve just put the key in the ignition with your workmates? We went around the team to check in on the team’s weekends:

Lana: It was a long week for me and I needed the drink to finish it off. What did I get up to? Sport. Parties and friends. None of which I was needed for other than lifts because they were all my son’s activities. I did all my relaxing when he went to sleep.

We have 25 of these prize packs to give away.

Matt: The weekend started with a glass of Sauv Blanc. Then Saturday morning appeared with a bacon sandwich. Then, off to Westfield Bondi Junction (where I tend to lose my car in the car park) before I TRIED  to grab some sun in the afternoon. Sunday started with breakfast followed by a long lunch with friends and a few more beverages.

Nat: I went to a music festival this weekend with some friends. Sunshine, music and good company – my three favourite things.

Lucy: The weekend was a blur of catching up with friends and family, drinking lots of coffee and a little shopping, but mostly a lot of travel!

Paul: I enjoyed drinks with my partner and sister in-law at the beach before going to the movies to see Contagion.

Me? I popped some of the extra Rosemount wine in my satchel. Because hey, it was there. It was my friend’s birthday weekend and it came very much in handy! Happy birthday Candice!

Here’s a few shots of the Mamamia team kicking back with Rosemount:
