I’ve had some pretty horrible bosses in my time but none of them have ever done anything as horrible as one of my husband’s bosses who drove him to a brothel one night and then got angry when my husband refused to go in.
He waited in the car until his boss was done and then dropped him back at the office and drove home to tell me what had happened.
It’s possibly the most revolting story I have heard come out of a workplace and there are many more horrible bosses out there who have done much, much worse.
Some bosses are so completely unprofessional that they make doing a good job virtually impossible.
So if you have an awesome boss make sure they know you appreciate them because while we always expect them to heap praise on us when it is warranted, we often forget to do the same to them.
