Kate and William have been converted to one of the hippest food fads.

In the years since she’s become a global household name, we’ve come to know a lot about The Duchess of Cambridge.

We know she did her own wedding makeup, we know she loves a Jenny Packham dress, we know she shares a hairdresser with Bear Grylls, and we even know the beauty products she swore by while she was pregnant with Princess Charlotte.

Now, we’ve got another little slice of intel to add to our list of Things We Know About Kate Middleton: she loves a green juice, and so does her husband William.

According to Us Weekly, the 33-year-old mum has been drinking home-delivered green juice every morning to give her “an extra boost”, and it’s all thanks to her sister Pippa. (Post continues after gallery.)

“Pippa arranged to have fresh juices delivered to Kate every three days. It was a surprise treat. Kate used to blend her own juices and this is much easier,” a family source told the magazine.

Yep, Kate Middleton is a ‘juicer’. She reportedly used to whip up her own green bevvies with a Nutribullet (of course) but with a two-year-old and a newborn on her hands she’s probably appreciating having them arrive fresh on her doorstep.

This isn’t the only foodie bandwagon the Duchess has jumped on — last year it was reported she had embraced a raw food diet, which featured foods such as ceviche, goji berries, gazpacho, watermelon salad, almond milk and tabbouleh.

Apparently William has also become a juicing convert, so it looks like Pippa’s nutrition ambition is paying off. The doting aunty also has baby Charlotte in her sights, promising to use her new health training to create some healthy, “organic, plant-based” recipes for her newborn niece.

“Kate and Pippa both agree that even the organic brands of baby foods aren’t healthy enough. It is so easy to blend up [food] at home,” a source told the Daily Mail. How long until George and Charlotte are having their sippy cups filled with green juice? We can only wonder.

Us Weekly's 'family source' also mentioned the Duchess frequently shops at an organic farm shop called Back to the Garden, which stocks fresh local and organic produce. This isn't really surprising, considering Kensington Palace's former chef Carolyn Robb told Racked Kate does her own cooking.

“She comes from a normal background and a normal home where she’s always cooked for herself. And what I’ve always heard is that William enjoys spending time with her family because they just eat together at the kitchen table like a normal family,” Robb revealed.

Green juices, organic groceries... we reckon Kate Middleton needs to move to Fitzroy or Surry Hills ASAP.
