This week Mamamia is featuring Bei Na Wei, an emerging women’s wear design graduate. Bei Na has previously worked as an electrical engineer, before throwing it in to pursue her dream of working in fashion. Onya girl.
You can see the engineering background in Bei Na’s designs, which combine sculptural silhouettes, innovative fabrications and laser-sharp detailing. There’s a delicate balance in her designs between a technical edge and feminine details.
Her designs are absolutely stunning. We don’t know about you but we can’t wait for the day we can buy these babies in an actual store. And knowing Bei Na’s passion, that won’t be too far away.

So people are actually liking this? No offence to the designer but not one of these appeals to me. They look like the seamstress got bored halfway through and just gave up. Or, in one case, sewed two dresses together accidentally
