I can relate to the form section, the memory still gives me the chills. A lady at my bank filled in my employment section (which I left blank) as 'homemaker' and 'housewife' I felt like a unemployed loser. I had two years off work with my second daughter during which I project managed the construction of our new home, but technical I was unemployed for the banks purpose. I hated being called that but couldn't and still can't really understand why. It's such an old fashioned term, but there isn't a modern version that I know of.
I think Monty Diamond is a great interviewer - I love her 'On the Couch' series. It helps that she has such great subjects such as Mia Freedom and others - like Meshal Laurie and Chrissie Swan. Very inspirational to hear about all the highs and lows of working in the media.
