US Bachelor winner has been announced. (Warning: Spoilers ahead)

It’s happened. It’s here. The winner of US Bachelor has been announced and in a shocking twist, he didn’t choose both of them.

If you don’t want to know who will be walking down the aisle, i’m going to give you one last chance to click back.

Okay, you’re on.

Here it is:

The gruelling choice was whittled down to two: Lauren Bushnell and JoJo Fletcher. We loved Lauren for her bubbly nature and we loved JoJo for her honesty and all-round nice gal feels.

But for JoJo, it was not to be and in a heartbreaking final episode, Lauren was announced as the winner of the Bachelor 2016.

“Lauren, I never want to say goodbye to you,” he said.

“I want to wake up every morning and kiss you on the face. I want to go to bed at night and know that in the morning I’m going to wake up with the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on.”

I couldn’t imagine why.

However, his rejection of JoJo wasn’t exactly the cleanest break – though you can’t fault the guy for honesty.

After JoJo met his parents and took what will be her last jaunt in the helicopter, Ben broke the news in the hardest ways.

“I found love with you, but I found it with somebody else more,” he said.

Nuh uh. Oh no you didn’t.

Cue swell of music. Cue heartbreak. Cue Lauren getting really mad when she watches this in playback and realises her one-and-only was sort of her more-than-a-half.

But then, in a shocking twist, JoJo was even graceful in defeat.

“I’m happy for you.” She said.

I’m not. I was #teamjojo.

But in all seriousness, he is painfully sweet.

Yes.
