Two-year-old girl found dead in house in Miller, in south-west Sydney.

The body of a two-year-old child has been found at a property at Miller in Sydney’s south west.

Authorities were called just after 12:00pm after reports of concerns for the child’s welfare and found the girl dead on arrival at the property, located near Liverpool.

The ABC understands emergency services were responding to a call from a friend of the child’s mother, who it is believed discovered the toddler’s body.

A crime scene has been established and investigations are continuing.

Commercial media have published photographs of several ambulances and police officers in the street.

Police have not said what caused the child’s death, but have said they were investigating and would prepare a report for the coroner.

Officers said a post-mortem examination would officially determine how the child died.

The ABC understands officers are searching the house and the surrounding property now.
