Wonderland actress diagnosed with breast cancer.

Our thoughts are with her and her family.

Wonderland actress, Tracy Mann (who plays Maggie Wilcox on the show) has revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer and has shown her journey through battling the disease.

Two months ago the 58-year-old took to Instagram to let her followers and fans know that she had been diagnosed, underwent a mastectomy and that her prognosis was looking positive.

She wrote, “Dearest Instagram family and followers. 13 days ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. 5 days ago I had a double mastectomy. The lymph nodes were clear. I no longer have breast cancer! Out of hospital and home. It is with gratitude I write this. The care I have received and the skill of the surgeon and her colleagues have me in awe. Life is too short to worry over the small and even BIG stuff. I send you all love and best wishes for long and happy lives. Tracy xxx”

This is the photo that accompanied her message.

Since her operation, Mann has been undergoing chemotherapy and has been posting updates from her journey with the hashtag #breastcancersurvivor.

The Australian actress took to social media five days ago to say she was halfway through her chemotherapy.

She captioned the above image, taken at the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, "Round 2. Halfway there. #breastcancersurvivor#chemo #thistoowillpass".

Mann is a favourite on the Australian TV show, Wonderland and has always been a popular local actress starring in shows such as All Saints, Blue Heelers and Home and Away.

Posting her journey on Instagram is showing her strength during the tough journey she's facing and is also raising awareness about breast cancer and chemotherapy. We're sure it is helping many others get through their own tough journeys.

We're thinking of Mann and her family at this time. Stay strong.
