Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson gave his one-year-old daughter the perfect Easter surprise.

Okay, okay, Easter is supposed to be a time of eggs and bunny rabbits, it’s true. But what happens when your kids don’t care for rabbits so much? What happens when she’s all about Pokemon instead?

Well, if you’re anything like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, you humour them and go along with it, and dress up as Pikachu, obviously.

You also spend hours chasing your one-year-old around and fight off a pet dog that thinks your new yellow legs are territory that needs to be marked, while your partner looks on, laughs, and films the whole thing. Because, dad life, right?

Posting a video of himself in full cartoon costume, the 44-year-old dad of two wrote, “The first time Jasmine’s favorite character, Pikachu came to visit her months ago she was only crawling. For Easter Sunday @laurenhashianofficial and I thought, Pikachu should make a special visit once again.

“Well, Pikachu didn’t account for the fact that now Jazzy RUNS and for 2hrs straight she wants to play her new favorite game, “I run away and you chase me Pikachu. And you’re not allowed to take a break until I go night night”. At the end of the vid you can hear her yell, “Peekyu” because she can’t say, Pikachu,” The Rock’s adorable post continued.

Finally, the Fast and the Furious actor added, “I’m tired, today’s my only day off, it’s 118 degrees in this costume and Hobbs keep trying to p*ss on my leg. And I luv every minute of it. Bring it on. It’s what daddy’s do. Happy Easter to you guys and enjoy your families.”

He ended the post by joking, #PikachuLooksBloated.

Jasmine is The Rock’s youngest daughter with his partner Lauren Hashian. He also has a 15-year-old daughter Simone from a previous relationship.

Um, so not that mine wasn’t great or anything, but to The Rock, if you’re reading this, can I please come to your family’s Easter event next year? It looks like one hell of a time and I’m willing to dress as Charmander to sweeten the deal.
