Get excited, people. We’re back for yet another week of The Bachelorette Australia.

After a tense photoshoot group date which saw contestant Warwick storm out of the mansion and Noosa councillor Jess kicked out of the competition, last week’s episode was… intense.

But it didn’t end there.

In fact, tonight’s episode was just as dramatic.

Mamamia’s daily entertainment podcast The Spill chatted to Angie Kent about the new season of The Bachelorette. Post continues after podcast.

During tonight’s group date, which involved lots of doggos, lone intruder Ryan Anderson entered the competition.

Much to the other contestant’s dismay, however, it was revealed that Ryan already knew Angie.

In case you missed it, Ryan recently shared that he initially planned to ask Angie out on a date in the outside world after exchanging a few DMs with the former Gogglebox star over their mutual love of rescue dogs.

When Ryan learned that Angie would be appearing on The Bachelorette, however, he decided to apply for the show.

Yep, it’s basically Sophie Monk and Stu Laundy all over again. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Later on at the cocktail party, things got intense among the contestants when Angie took Ryan away for a chat.

While they were chatting, a very stressed Jamie began pacing around and strangely enough, Timm became the voice of reason among the group.

Yep, we’re still confused.

In the end, Mitch and Kayde (AKA Zac Efron) were sent home.

Here’s how Australia reacted to tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette:
