The Bachelor's Tiffany just met her idol Andy Lee, and it was a little awkward.

When you’re one of the most talked-about contestants in The Bachelor history, it’s safe to assume people might have a bit of an idea of who you are.

Unfortunately for Tiffany Scanlon – who’s made international headlines thanks to her ‘are-they-or-aren’t-they’ relationship with fellow contestant Megan Marx – that wasn’t the case at Derby Day in Melbourne.

Posting a photo of herself posing with radio presenter Andy Lee, Tiffany admitted she’d bumped into her “idol” in The Birdcage.

The only problem? He had no idea who she was.

“When you…think he might know who you are and he’s like I don’t watch The Bachelor, that’s Hamish,” Tiffany captioned the photo.

Well, this is just very awkward for everyone involved.

Tiffany may have saved herself with the best hashtag ever created: #AndyForBachelor2017.

(We’ve made no secret of the fact that we are VERY MUCH on board with this idea…)

When Megan posted the same snap to her own Instagram, fans were more excited about a potential hook-up between her and Andy.

"Now this is a perfect match! Andy and Megan! Make it happen!" wrote one fan, while another commented the trio were the "three hottest people alive".
