13 beauty lessons we've learned from Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood' video.

For a couple of weeks now, Taylor Swift has been Insta-teasing her millions of fans by introducing us, one by one, to the star-studded cast of Bad Blood. Talk about brilliant marketing — just when we thought she couldn’t find anyone else in Hollywood to make a cameo, boom! There’s Cindy Crawford.

Swifty has enlisted her entire squad of famous friends to star in the clip, with Jessica Alba, Cara Delevingne, Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo — namesake of Swift’s cat Meredith — among them.

Of course, the video has left fans with plenty of questions. Is it a thinly-veiled middle finger salute to Swift’s rumoured ‘frenemy’ Katy Perry? (According to many, it absolutely is.) Did Swifty, aka. Catastrophe, do all her own stunts? (Doubtful.) And, most importantly, will there be a sequel? (Hopefully!)

While we ponder these important matters, let’s take a look at the beauty lessons we can take away from this epic production. (Post continues after gallery.)

1. There’s always time for lipstick application.

Even when you're kicking ass and seizing top-secret briefcases.

2. A powder compact can double as a weapon

Just loosen it up a bit then blow it into your enemy's eyes. Who knew? Thanks for the tip, Katy Perry evil version of Selena Gomez.

 3. Invest in a personal wind machine

The benefits are obvious.

4. Baby pink lipstick doesn't need to be sweet.

Hailee Steinfeld ('The Trinity') is wearing the most innocent shade of cotton candy pink possible in this video, and we still don't want to mess with her. Great eyeliner, too.

5. Embrace your wet hair.

Fresh from a particularly sweaty gym session? Just got caught in a downpour without an umbrella? No dramas - just channel Catastrophe and work it into a low, slicked-back bun.

6. Try a navy, smoky winged eye.

There's no rulebook that says a smoky winged eye necessarily needs to be black. This navy version is very cool indeed.

7. You can wear pigtails and still look like an adult.

Martha Hunt's hair looks anything but infantile. The black wraps at the top are worth trying out at home.

8. It's time to try side-swept hair.

This has become model Cara Delevingne's trademark red carpet look, and for very good reason. If you want to try it yourself, check out our guide.

9. Lower lid eyeshadow works.

Hayley Williams' eye makeup is punk-tastic. Another good incentive to try navy eyeshadow, hmm?

10. Berry is the ultimate winter lipstick shade.

Frostbyte - Victoria's Secret model Lily Aldridge - teams a berry lip with a frosty eye. Brrrr-illiant combination.

11. Helmet hair? Shake it off (well, out).

Swift clearly knows a low ponytail can survive a motorcycle helmet. Jessica Alba just shakes it out.

12. Classics are classic for a reason.

Taylor Swift and red lipstick are just about synonymous now, so we're glad she put her signature red pout to use in Bad Blood. It always helps to have a go-to look you love.

13. Winged liner forever.

I think the main takeaway from this entire video was the power of a winged eye. Bad Blood's eyeliner game is incredibly strong.
