The awards season is upon us! Last week we had the People’s Choice Awards and The Critics’ Choice Awards. And today it’s time for the Golden Globes.

The opening of the show was a must-watch this year as Ricky Gervais is back to host, despite causing a storm of controversy last year with his acid-wit. He left no celebrity stone unturned in his opening monologue and ruffled a few feathers. Here’s the 2012 (latest) monologue fresh off the upload:
