There’s romance on the shores of Summer Bay for two Home And Away stars.
Steve Peacocke, 33, and Bridgette Sneddon, 28, who appeared together on the popular Australian show have confirmed their marriage. Channel Seven released the news that the pair had tied the knot to The Daily Mail.
Steve who plays Darryl “Brax” Braxton on the show and Bridgette who plays Sophie Taylor have been dating for nine years after initially meeting in drama school. Bridgette joined the cast this year after being cast as the new character.
Steve and Bridgette confirmed their engagement in March last year, before they were slammed with rumours that Steve was involved with fellow cast member Bonnie Sveen who played his love interest on the show.
“As a couple, we don’t ever chase the social scene, we’re not on social media, we’re not often in the limelight. We do what we have to do for work and that’s it. Bridgette and I are still very much together,” he told News Corp.
And what better way to squish those nasty comments than to officially say “I do”.
Congratulations, you two.
