Marking the final day of the Melbourne Cup Festival, the Emirates Stakes Day at Flemington Racecourse over the weekend was an unmissable opportunity for cocktail frocks, brave hairpieces and champagne before midday.

Stakes Day is considered the “family day” of racing. It’s the final meet of the Spring Carnival, and celebs and their little ones were out in force to celebrate.

The pant trend continued. (Thank you Jennifer Hawkins.) In this, Melbourne talent agent Felicity Milford rocked crisp flares, alongside models Rebecca Harding and Ilona Novacek.

Author and health coach Rachael Finch wowed again (did you see her Melborne Cup outfit?), this time in a floral dress from Cue. Simple, elegant and complete with a baby bump.
