I’m not a big fan of cooking. I’ve always seen it as a chore. And I hate cooking more when it comes to cleaning up. Except when you have the miraculous creation of a dishwasher.
Why, you ask?
Because, after cooking, you can just shove everything in there, slam the door shut, press a button and voilà. Cleanliness.
However, dishwashers are also the cause of most relationship fights (I can’t quote any statistics on that one). Whether it is to pre-rinse or not to pre-rinse, or the way you unpack the dishwasher. If either of you do it differently (and believe you are in the right) the relationship bomb will explode. And if you have those helpful dinner guests pack your dishwasher “wrong”…well, you just spend all night sneakily changing it without them noticing. Or (in the extreme) just never invite them over again.
