NOT A DRILL: The Spice Girls are definitely, probably coming to Australia in 2020.

Spice Girls fans. Attention, attention. This is not a drill.

It looks like the Spice Girls are bringing their reunion world tour to Australia.

Probably. Maybe. Most likely.

OK, here’s what we know so far.

You can watch the moment Melb B announced the Australian tour below. Post continues after video.

According to multiple sources on social media, the 90s girl band announced to the audience during their final performance of their UK reunion tour that they’d ‘see them in Australia’.

Geri Horner (Ginger Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Mel B (Scary Spice) and Mel C (Sporty Spice) performed the last show of their 13-date UK and European tour at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday night, UK time.

Fans in the audience (including our very own Carrie Bickmore) heard Mel B yell to the crowd, “We will see you in February in Australia.”

The Spice Girls set off on their reunion tour, without Victoria Beckham a.k.a Posh Spice, in late May and have played arenas in Dublin, Cardiff, Manchester, Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh and Bristol.

The group always said they initially planned to only tour the UK and Europe, but also never wrote off the idea of a world tour. So far, the band haven’t made an official announcement other than what was said at their concert.

That’s all we know so far.

Fingers crossed this wasn’t just Mel B over promising while jacked up on adrenaline, because we would really love it if the Spice Girls could come spice up our lives in 2020.
