Skate Into Shape

Shaping a set of lovely legs takes time and effort – don’t forget that when yours are burning and you feel like you can’t do one more rep! Luckily, most leg workouts require a significant amount of core strength which is a terrific bonus for getting into swimsuit mode.
 
Get started now with one of my favourite moves that rolls cardio, leg and ab strength into one:
 
Forward Skaters Challenge:
 
1.    Begin by right foot in front of you, and bending the knee at almost 90-degrees.
2.    Load in on that leg, putting almost all of your weight into it, keeping your back leg light.
3.    Keep your left foot light, tapping your toe behind you.
4.    Imagine a shelf above your head – keeping you bent low, and helping you avoid a drastic hop as you switch feet.
5.    Alternate legs for 25 reps on each side.
