The ultimate room reveal: Inside the $1.2 million home of The Block judge Shaynna Blaze.

Interior designer Shaynna Blaze has made a living critiquing and perfecting the abodes of homeowners.

Since 2008, the 54-year-old has lent her expertise to Selling Houses Australia, and for the past five years, she’s been a judge on Australia’s favourite renovating reality show, The Block.

We’ve heard her describe a home office as a “broom closet” and call a curtain-less window naked. We’ve even heard her describe a tea bag left in a presentation cup as “skanky”.

But now, for the first time, fans are able to have a look at how the designer decorates her very own home.

After 15 years, Blaze has put her home in Ringwood North, Melbourne, on the market with Fletchers Real Estate. And the interior is just as spectacular as you’d expect.

“This has been the family home for 15 years, where the kids grew up with a whole street of other kids in a leafy, safe environment,” Blaze told Realestate.com.au in October.

“The kids moved out years ago, we lost our family dog and we haven’t really lived there since we have our property in Hawthorn, so it isn’t a family home to us anymore.

“It’s time for another family to love it and create their own memories.”

Blaze’s home – which she has done “pretty much everything to” since buying it 15 years ago – has four bedrooms, as well as three open-plan living rooms and timber floors throughout.

There's even a covered outdoor area, complete with gas fireplace and landscaped backyard - an area that would earn a perfect score on The Block, for sure.

The home also features timber floors and new carpets throughout.

Robin Waterbury, the Fletchers Real Estate agent charged with selling the home said it's perfect for a new generation of families.

"It will suit [buyers] looking for a nice quality home and it really does offer good quality family living," he said.

Blaze's home is expected to fetch between $1.19 and $1.29 million, with expressions of interest closing on November 21. Perhaps Dave Hughes might be interested?
