If you’re cool enough not to remember to whom you send Facebook friend requests, or you simply lose track of the dozens that you have blindly yet optimistically cast out into the ether, then you may be intrigued to know that there’s a way to see exactly who is turning you down.
As News.com.au writes, on the Facebook desktop site, click on the little, twinning “Friends” icon at the top of the page to reveal the drop-down menu. Then go right ahead and select “See all”.
From there you’ll spy the words “View sent requests”. But beware, dear reader, for beyond that ever-so tempting little phrase lies treacherous territory. Once you have crossed that threshold you join The Knowing, and can never again bask in the warm, cosseting glow of ignorance.
If you should chose to do so and any names appear, then yes, they have received your request. And no, you probably don’t need to send it again. But go ahead and try if you must.
Who knows, they may just be cooling it on social media for a while? Right? Or maybe they’re just… Ah, who cares. You don’t need ‘em anyway.
