Sara Connor accuses lead investigator in Bali murder cases of 'lies and inaccuracy'.

A Byron Bay woman accused of murdering a Bali police officer says the lead investigator in her case is lying and prosecutors are “playing with my life”.

Local detective Sulhadi gave evidence to the murder trial that Ms Connor said that she had blood on her hand when she hit the policeman.

Outside court, Connor accused the police officer of making up evidence.

“This was the main investigator and he couldn’t remember things and he also made a mistake on things that are not in my statement,” she said.

“I think this is all made to look guilty while I’m not guilty.

“It all seems to be fabricated and just created to make me look guilty when I’m not.

“So many lies and inaccurate things. This is not fair — they’re playing with my life.”

Connor also told reporters that she missed her children, who remain in Byron Bay with their father.

“It’s a terrible time at the moment to be away from them,” she said.

“I cry, that’s what I do.”

She said her spirits were lifted by the letters of support from Australia.

“Thank you very much for your support and believing in me I really appreciate all your letters — unfortunately I cannot answer,” she said.
