Police in Bali have completed their investigation in the murder case against Australian woman Sara Connor and her British boyfriend David Taylor.

The case against Connor, from Byron Bay, and Taylor is now with the District Attorney’s Office.

The pair, who are accused of murdering a local policeman, will be handed over to prosecutors and moved to Bali’s Kerobokan prison as early as this week.

They face charges of murder, assault causing murder and group assault.

Lawyers for Connor said they expect prosecutors to announce which charge they will take to court and the case to begin in about three weeks.

The pair have been detained since August.
