Definitive proof that Ryan Gosling is a superhero.

You know that old saying, probably sprouted by your grandmother that “if something seems too good to be true it probably is”?

Yes, well, that doesn’t apply to Ryan Gosling.

Let’s take a moment to acknowledge his face…

Oh, and also the time he reenacted the scene from ‘Dirty Dancing’ in ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’.

Okay, now that we’ve got that out of the way, we can explore the compelling evidence that Gosling’s character makes him a legend.

First, there was the time he broke up a fight on the streets of New York.

Second, there was the time he saved a journalist from being hit by an oncoming taxi.

By this point, we are wondering how on earth Hollywood isn’t making a movie out of this yet.

But now for number three.

This week, Gosling didn’t just break up a fight. He didn’t merely save a human life. No, no.

He rescued a tiny dog from being hit on a highway.

Gosling and his girlfriend Eva Mendes were on holiday in Palm Springs, California. As Gosling was driving to get some food (so down to earth) he almost hit a white, fluffy and very cute little puppy.

Instead of shouting and waving his fist, Gosling got out of his car, comforted the dog, and returned him to his worried owner.

See. There are even pictures. #Notallheroeswearcapes.  Like all legends, Gosling has always been a dog lover. He has described his adopted dog George as “the great love of his life.”
