Here’s the deal. Russell Brand was being followed by paparazzi in New Orleans – as he probably is, every minute of every day – and possibly had enough.
He allegedly grabbed a phone from a photographer trying to take a photo and threw it through a window of a nearby office. The photographer – Timothy Jackson – reported the incident to police and a warrant was issued for Brand’s arrest, according to TMZ.
He turned himself into police that afternoon and is apparently being charged with “simple criminal damage to property.”
Brand later tweeted this.
In other celebrity news today, is Whitney’s daughter engaged to her “adoptive” brother?

Just rubbish, really. Apparently it wasn't just one photo either, but continuous. In my books, that's just harassment! Love the Brand!
Oh Rusty, probably the least illegal thing he's ever done, and he's in hot water for it. How ironic.
I'm very fond of Mr Brand since reading his biographies. He's quite self aware, really.
