Ronan Keating and wife Storm have shared some magical baby news.

Irish singer-songwriter Ronan Keating and his wife Storm have announced they are expecting their first child together.

Writing on her blog, fashion designer and TV producer Storm, 35, wrote that the couple are more than excited to be bringing a baby into the world together.

“On the 17th August in 2010, my husband and I became friends. On the same day five years later we became husband and wife. We’re now very excited to announce that a year later (and again to the exact date) we became parents-to-be!! And so THAT’S why I passed on the mulled wine,” she wrote.

Storm added that she hopes for nothing more than for the Christmas period to keep her baby safe.

“Words cannot describe how overwhelmed with happiness we are. We feel so blessed to be adding another little Keating to the family and this news is like all of our Christmas wishes coming true. This Christmas we’ll just be asking Santa to keep our baby safe and to spread some extra happiness and joy to you and all your families also.”

Keating, 39, himself also re-iterated the couple’s excitement on Twitter, writing, “A massive thank you to everyone for all your kind messages today. Storm Keating and I are over the moon.”

The couple began dating back in September 2012 after she met him on Australian X-Factor and were married in August in 2015.

Keating already has three children with his ex-wife Yvonne Connolly, Jack, 17, Missy, 15 and Ali, 11.
