All she wanted to do was eat a can of tuna. She ended up discovering an unidentified species of… something.

At least, there is definitely some kind of unidentifiable creature in this woman’s can of tuna.

Zoe Butler, who lives in the UK, tweeted a photo of the… thing she found in her tuna.

Although slightly horrifying with its dead, black eyes staring out of a once-beloved snack, when Zoe Butler removed the creature from its aluminium grave, it turned out to actually be kind of, well, adorable:

Zoe Butler contacted the company that makes the tuna, but they have yet to provide an answer as to what this adorable/horrifying dead tuna alien could be:

Zoe Butler just tweeted that Princess Tuna got back to her, and after extensive testing ‘in the lab’, the alien was positively I.D’d as…

So there you have it. You don’t have to be afraid to eat tuna because the unidentifiable alien was actually just a dead crab foetus!
