Rebecca Judd: 'I owe my body to good undies'

Rebecca Judd has opened up about her post-baby bikini body – and the fact she’s never dieted.

Rebecca Judd, 31, has spoken candidly about her post-pregnancy body since giving birth only a few weeks ago to her second child.

The TV presenter and model claims her weight loss and slim body have nothing to do with strict eating because she’s ‘never dieted.’

Rebecca has told New Idea her body looks the way it does thanks to compression garments.

“Having a baby, my abdominal muscles separated by 8cm, which is huge. So as soon as I had Billie, my physio gave me compression shorts to wear, and I’ve been wearing them at home all the time.”

Although the muscles close by themselves in the end, Rebecca said the compression gear offered “a little helping hand” after she gave birth on February 1 to daughter Billie Kate, a sibling for her first child Oscar, 2, with AFL playing husband Chris Judd.

Returning  to work at the Myer 2014 Autumn/Winter fashion launch in Melbourne a few weeks after delivering Billie, Rebecca has been open about her exercise regime, posting on her blog Rebecca Judd Loves that she started pelvic floor exercises just one day after giving birth.

“Start doing pelvic floor exercises and transverse abdominal exercises from day 1 post delivery. If you can – obviously everyone heals differently and has different deliveries.”

Rebecca credits these exercises, pilates and her lifesaving compression shapewear for her current body shape.
