Being a women’s website, we spend a lot of time talking about the way that the fashion industry depicts women’s bodies, and how that depiction is hardly a depiction of a norm.
However, we rarely talk about men’s bodies. And, as these images created by The Sun newspaper demonstrate, members of the other sex experience the same level of unachievable standards when shopping for clothes.

I am always really surprised at how many women like their guys "soft" or think that muscles are gross. Sure I am not into body builders but I love a cut/well defined man! I am a dance instructor and also studying to be a PT so I suppose I have always been into exercise and working out, but muscle tone like that requires some real dedication and hard work and that is totally HOT in my book! Yes to six packs! yum!
Same! I think a guy who has the time and dedication to work hard on his body is admirable! I love a strong muscly guy who is fit to be completely honest.
Yeah, I'm with you on that one, I *love* a bit of muscle. Having said that, what you like might also be reflective of the body type and lifestyle you yourself live. I dig muscles on guys because I have muscles myself and I know how hard you have to work to cultivate them and the sacrifices you have to make. I respect that, and find it attractive. But yeah, very definite 'no' on the body builder front!
zepgirl, can I just say I love reading your comments. Always agree with you and I think you articulate really well. I feel like I have friends on here sometimes! Girls are awesome! hehe.. (I've just had a coffee so feeling a bit buzzed.. and it's Friday)
Ah, thanks, sailorgirl! I mostly agree with what you say on here as well. I feel like I have friends here as well, and a number of these 'online friendships' have resulted in actual friendships, which is very nice. If you're ever in Melbourne, please come to one of the MM Meetups!
All the guys on the left look great too- really we are either genetically blessed visually or we train damn hard to achieve "the body"
