I was diagnosed when I was almost 15. Then, when I turned 16, the doctors told me and my parents that because I was 16 I no longer had ADHD and so I would not need medication anymore.
I was told the same thing by someone after I had mine. I told them I couldn't give a rotting rat's fetid fart about their opinion and haven't spoken to them since. I blocked them on all social media, blocked their emails and SMS and calls. Do what's best for you and keep your opinions about others to yourself.
@mamamia-user-482898552 Agreed. I'm certain that it is a learned skill. I was never played with by either of my parents when I was growing up and I didn't know how to with my kids.
I had to learn how to play with my kids when they were born. My parents were always too busy to play with me when I was growing up and so I never learned how. I'm still not that good at it.
@mamamia-user-482898552 The first 5o times is.
Now do child raising advice non patents give to parents. Or pregnancy advice men or women who have never been pregnant give to pregnant women.
