What if someone is genuinely interested in your heritage? Are you not allowed to ask politely? There's a difference......

Some people are very tightly budgeted and do not have a single cent to donate to anything except for their own family's well being. If posting something of themselves (probably feeling awkward about it at the same time), is their way of giving, then that is just as valuable. I'm not talking about myself BTW, but I empathise with those out there who are in this situation and just do as they can.

I don't think there is any harm caused and those who did contribute a 'makeup free selfie' did so to try and just do something nice and raise awareness. There's no need for this vitriol, even though I do understand that having been so close to the disease would make you question the campaign. There was no offence meant to be caused.
