"And the last thing we wish this to be, is an attack on women. This is an attack on the patriarchy and its expectations of women that mean dealing with discomfort makes you more stylish."

I appreciate that you're trying to rewrite the narrative, but the majority of us millennials reacting are born from the Gen Z tiktoks and blogs about how we "look old" and "you can tell you're a millennial" by wearing skinny jeans and sideparts. It's not an attack on women, it's an attack on an age group of women and the style that makes them feel comfortable after years of dealing with the same issues the younger teens and 20 somethings are just starting to go through. We "give you shit" for your style as a rebuttal to the attack on ours. (Personally, I dig all of the styles so I don't see what the big deal is). Be your own generation and have a style that makes you feel comfortable and sexy in your own way, just leave us out of it.
