Why does it even need to be labelled as "girl math" ? It's sexist and outdated for 2023. Men also purchase unnecessary items, or justify their purchases with "girl math". Why does a gender need to be involved with calculating the cost of a specific item? Just call it math. Mindful materialism. Conscious capitalism.

@yeahyepyes agreed. I've had my previous comments on onlyfans censored, and they were respectful comments.

It's interesting when people say they feel empowered from doing onlyfans - would they still feel the same way if they weren't making money from it? Food for thought.

I think I am an eggshell person.

It's such a shame that as women we're taught that the darkside of social media (thirst traps, sexts, nudes) are considered normal, and you're controlling if you don't want your partner to engage in that stuff.

The likelihood of this situation is there is more shady stuff going on with this guy. Men are getting better at hiding their bad habits, especially when there's a growing real estate for these temptations (Instagram, snap chat, only fans, reddit)... I hope she leaves him.

Thanks for posting this article, can relate. When I was 16 I was called "anorexically thin" by a work colleague. Nice way to start a long-term relationship with low self esteem and body dysmorphia!

@nat-lovexx  Technically, if the husband's business is a company (i.e. not a sole trader), the wife is not responsible for the company's debts - the debts are responsible by the directors of the company (which may or may not be the husband). Therefore, the husband's company debt is not the wife's responsibility, and she is not obligated to financially support him.

If the husband's business goes under, he is liable, but she is not. The creditors of the company (i.e. the parties who are owed money by the company) can take insolvency action against the company, but not against the wife.
In this current economic climate money is becoming increasingly important, and it is not necessarily easy to just simply make more of it and make peace with losing hard earned $60k.
The wife and husband should seek financial advice.

mamamiauser123 August 20, 2022

Why didn't the husband try to get a bank loan? Were they not approved for one?

If he still hasn't repaid that debt almost 6 months later, what other business debts is he not paying? Is he paying is BAS (business activity statements) to the ATO? Is he paying his income tax debt?
If he couldn't afford a $60k machinery because it would send the business broke, then it sounds like he is trading insolvent and his business could be close to being in liquidation.
See a financial advisor ASAP.

It is so refreshing to read learn that Christina Ricci has regrets and wishes she could change things about her past. I struggle with my own regrets and I am always trying to make peace with them (so far hasn't worked). So it's reassuring to see someone famous be transparent and real about their own regrets.

@claire oz Agreed. It's strange how Pitt hasn't faced any backlash or repercussions from the media over these allegations.

That was a very entertaining read!

On a side note, the memes and some of the language in this article had a pedestrian.tv vibe to it - not in a bad way, I love that website! I've just not seen Mamamia use swear words (abbreviations and acronyms) to this frequency in one article before.

Nigella is  amazing. I love her views on getting older - it is a privilege and something to look forward to. This article spoke to me on so many levels, thanks for publishing a good article <3

This article was a wonderful read, such a breath of fresh air compared to the Kardashian fodder that feeds the headlines. I never knew Ellen Pompeo was such a compassionate and wise person.

@gu3st That's the risk you take when you decide to read articles on Stranger Things prior to finishing the latest season. Sometimes it's best to avoid all articles until you are up to date with the series.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this timely article. I have just started shedding large quantities of my head hair due to prolonged stress. It's getting to the point where I'm wondering if I'll need to consider buying a wig. I'm grateful this article has provided links to reputable wig retailers.
