I do not understand the police dismissing a rape case.  Do they dismiss a murder case for lack of evidence?  I think not..they could interview counselors and mental health people she'd spoken to...interviewed her friends, whoever..but to just not bother with anything doesn't mean there is no case to answer. 

Whoever thought circumsizing women was a good idea...who first dreamed up such an horrific practice...I get why, to stop women from being interested in sex, so they  supposedly stay faithful but omg! such a barbaric practice should never have got off the ground..and it is mostly women that do it to their female children. I loved the notebook..then again, I watched it with my sister and not a bottle of vodka. The biggest thing that struck me though was that the husbands eyes changed from blue to brown. Ryan Gosling has blue eyes and James Garner has brown..it lacked credibility for me because of that. I know..I'm fussy..but it was just silly..the old man beared no resemblance to the young man in any way whatsoever.
