I live separately with my husband. I have a place in QLD and he is in NSW. I visit and he visits and we go away together on holidays but when we are together we have separate bedrooms. It works for us. I love my time alone (with the puppy) and he loves his time alone. He can do what he wants to do and so can I. Actually , Covid made this arrangement. I got stuck in QLD with the border closures. Then we decided that it wasn't such a bad arrangement.  Also my mum always wanted to outlive my father so that she could have 'just a couple of years alone'. Unfortunately, it didn't happen.

I am immune compromised with RA and IBD.  I take immune suppressing drugs and I don't know how I will react to getting Covid.  It worries me and makes me anxious.  To hear that we are all going to get it doesn't help.  I had pneumonia last year and I was so sick, I can only imagine what Covid will be like. The government has dropped the ball.  We had nearly two years to get the situation under control and now look at it. Queensland has gone from no cases to 83,815 since opening the border.  I thought everyone had to have a negative test to enter Qld.  It is madness and it is frightening for the vulnerable with 'underlying medical conditions' and the elderly.

This is insane thinking.  Unvaccinated people are the hosts for mutations of the virus.  Why should the unvaccinated enjoy the same privilege as those who protected their families and co workers by getting the shots. Unbelievable.

@Crazy Nut I have the same issue with my sister.  We haven't spoken for several years and I don't think that will change.  She uses my daughter (her god daughter) as a pawn and I can't tell my daughter not to have anything to do with her.  This situation started over our parents' will.  Money does ruin relationships. The only silver lining is that I don't have to put up with her bullying anymore.
