Thanks for recognising those who do it on their own. As a widow, we often get forgotten because we literally have no other option. 

I thought this article might also address the recent workplace bullying claims against him.

Can we please use appropriate language while talking about suicide. The term committed is no longer acceptable. Please use 'died by suicide' or similar.

Can we please change the language used with talking about suicide in this article (and all articles). Died by suicide is better, less offensive terminology. It's also more respectful of Dr Kidd and his actions. 

Every new Mum should read 'the wonder weeks'. It has nothing to do with 'sleep' but everything to do with mental changes during the first 20 months. Gave me perspective and sanity!

I absolutely agree. As a teacher, I thought I was going to be in a profession that was more accepting of part timers. At my last school, I was part time and still in a position with (unpaid) responsibility with no issues. A work transfer last year meant that I worked full time at my new school and when I asked to go back to part time and it was frowned upon despite my experience which is well above others in the school. I am most certainly treated second class by admin. I agree that part timers do work more productively and I spend too much time on my days off doing extra school prep that I would never normally have the time for if I was working full time. The idea that employees get more 'bang for their buck' rings true

Happened to me on the weekend- same amount of stuff as the trip up but more in carry on suitcase as we weren't wearing jackets. Flight attendant was so rude and on a power trip- wouldn't let me put anoything in my handbag or wear a jacket from the case, then threatened to put our bag on another flight. It was a joke as we were the only plane on the Tarmac and the last flight of three for the day. Thank fully the flight manager had a brain and ensured it got on the flight.

I was an iPhone fan until the latest update. Hate it and I cannot answer calls on my cars Bluetooth- but I can call out and stream music still via the system. It's a step backwards and after having issues with the iPad as well with new software, I'm out.
