I’ve just returned from Bali and wouldn’t know if the places we ate at were owned by foreigners but I would take a guess and say most of them would be. Trying to avoid getting myself or my children sick over there is a huge part of that choice and saying that is ‘painfully lame’ is lame in itself.. I still made sure to spend lots of money at the market stalls, with people on the beach, tipped every single person I dealt with for every drink/food order/taxi etc.
I was diagnosed with PMDD about 3 years ago and it was a relief. I burn my life down for 12 days a month and try and put it back together the rest of the time. It’s an exhausting roller coaster but at least one I have a name for now. Thanks for sharing this story and bringing it to more people’s attention.
That is just heartbreaking to hear. Perhaps some existing rideshare apps could incorporate queer friendly ratings into their existing business model so users have a choice on the type of people we want driving us around - queer or not!
I also am a martyr 10 🫣 thanks for this article. It’s true and I need to wake myself up. I’m burnt out beyond recognition…
What a great article - window shopping from the comfort of my bed on a rainy morning. More please 😍
