This recent discussion I found really distressing and archaic views around home birth and that lack of understanding around womens needs for home birth and midwife care. Found it surprising that Mia is happy to completely trust & follow the advise from any health care provider as they are “more qualified “ ……and those who choose to seek more information are somehow disrespectful of these professionals. I’ve lived with chronic illness and I can tell you from my personal experience your own person research is absolutely key , you know your body and you are the one living in it, make decisions about it what happens are super important.
