My wife of 36 years passed on Thanksgiving morning, 2008. We met in high school in 1971 when she was a junior and I was a senior. My plan was to enter politics, hers was to be a stay-at-home mother of two sons and two daughters. Thankfully, we went with her plan. Becky loved the holidays, so losing her on Thanksgiving makes it more difficult. My four wonderful children and seven grandchildren and I still mourn her loss, but Thanksgiving and Christmas have become times to celebrate the miracle she still is and always will be in our lives.
