Crown Princess Mary and Prince Frederik celebrated Prince Consort Henrik’s 80th birthday on Wednesday at the French palace Chateau De Cayx.

This may sound like a grand affair, but the Tasmanian-born Princess‘ relaxed emerald maxi dress would have fit in at any Australian backyard BBQ.

The couple brought their gorgeous brood of royal children to the event, with Princess Josephine clinging to her mum's side.
