The UK's first pregnant man gives birth to a baby girl.

Hayden Cross, Britain’s first pregnant man, has given birth to a baby girl.

Last year the 21-year-old made headlines around the world when he announced his pregnancy, after successfully transitioning to a man three years earlier.

Cross legally become a man through gender reassignment, but put his transition on hold to have a child. He then found a sperm donor through Facebook and became pregnant.

According to the Independent, Cross’s daughter, Trinity-Leigh, was born on 16 June this year by caesarean.

"She’s perfect in every way," Cross told The Sun. “She is so good. I’m so lucky."

Earlier this year, Cross told TV host Lorraine Kelly that he received death threats after announcing his pregnancy.

“I have had some good reactions but I’ve had some really bad reactions,” he told Kelly.

“A lot of people don’t really understand the situation, and I get that, but I just want people to be more aware that there are those who do need help, that are like me, and haven’t got anybody to support them.”

Cross now plans to complete his transition by removing his breasts and ovaries.
