Portia de Rossi

Portia de Rossi, Australian actress and wife of talk show host Ellen Degeneres, reportedly spent a 30 days in an LA rehabilitation facility during the month of May. According to InTouch Magazine, the 41-year-old was checked into Passages Rehab Facility in Malibu. Passages is licensed as a centre for those struggling with substance abuse.

De Rossi’s last visit to rehab was 14 years ago, when she was treated for an eating disorder.

Shia LeBeouf

Actor Shia LeBeouf was spotted outside a treatment facility in Hollywood on Monday. However, the 27-year-old’s rep has denied that he is in rehab, saying that he is voluntarily seeking treatment for alcohol addiction. Speaking to The Daily News, LeBeouf’s rep said: ‘He understands that these recent actions are a symptom of a larger health problem and he has taken the first of many necessary steps towards recovery.’

LeBeouf had a tumultuous week last week, being arrested in New York after disrupting a performance of Cabaret on Broadway. The week before, a video obtained by TMZ showed LeBeouf attempting to get into a fight outside a strip club in Manhattan.

Robin Williams

Robin Williams has checked into rehab once again to ‘finetune’ his commitment to sobriety. According to TMZ, the 62-year-old actor is currently receiving treatment at Hazelden Treatment Centre in Lindstrom, Minnesota in their Lodge Program. According to their website, the Lodge Program is for “participants who have years of recovery come to tune up spiritually, do inventory step work, focus on issues of sponsorship, and recommit to their program of action”.

Williams first publicly admitted his struggle with addiction in 1988, when he revealed in a People interview that he was a regular user of alcohol and cocaine. After 20 years of sobriety, Williams entered rehab for alcoholism in 2006.
