Welcome to This Glorious Mess Little Kids. A twice-weekly look at parenting as it really is. Confusing, exhausting, inspiring, funny, and full of surprises. So many surprises.
Talking about death is scary at the best of times, but how do we talk about death with our little ones?
To coach us through it, Leigh and Tegan are joined by Melissa Reader, CEO of the Violet Initiative. Melissa's late husband was diagnosed with renal cancer only months after the birth of her third child. Years on, Melissa wishes her family went about things a little differently. So is there any right way to talk to our kids about death?
Plus, Elf on the shelf ... are you opting in or out this year?
