In 1987, Sue and John Brierly adopted a little boy from India named Saroo. Years later, Saroo would go on to discover his birth family via Google Earth and his story would be made into a Hollywood film named Lion.

But it’s the story behind that story that Holly and Andrew are focusing on today. Sue, Saroo’s mum, has written a book called Lionness, and it’s all about the years she waited for her sons to arrive, and why her family trauma helped her decide to adopt.
