How Dangerous Is Someone Who Is Unvaccinated?

Some states and territories are surging ahead with COVID-19 vaccinations with the ACT and NSW now surpassing 90% first dose, but other jurisdictions including WA, QLD and the NT are falling behind on just over 70% first dose vaccination rates.

Despite the slow uptake in some communities, restrictions are continuing to ease across much of the country which has many people asking, how dangerous is it for those of us who are fully vaccinated to mingle with those who aren't?

The Quicky speaks to a political sociologist and an expert epidemiologist to find out how much of a health or even psychological risk people who aren't vaccinated pose to others in the community.
